The first match for AEW Full Gear 2025 has been officially announced for the show.
At WrestleDream, Mercedes Mone cut Kris Statlander’s celebration short after the Women’s Champion defended her title against Toni Storm. Later that night, Statlander returned and laid out the TBS Champion. With both women still having animosity with one another, Statlander confirmed that she would put the title on the line against Mone at the pay-per-view.
During the AEW Dynamite Fright Night special on October 29, Bobby Lashley and FTR each won their respective number one contender matches, meaning that they will advance to the pay-per-view and compete in title matches.
