AEW Full Gear 2025 Predictions

AEW Full Gear 2025 Predictions

History will be made at AEW Full Gear 2025, as a new champion is guaranteed to be crowned.

As All Elite Wrestling recently announced that the National Championship would be introduced on the show, a Casino Gauntlet match has been booked for Full Gear to crown the inaugural champion. Additionally, Adam Page will face Samoa Joe for the World Championship one more time, this time inside a steel cage, and Mercedes Mone will look to win another championship as she will take on Kris Statlander.

AEW Full Gear 2025 Predictions:

Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Mone For The Women’s Championship

Although Mone continues her belt collector run and has 13 titles to her name at the time of writing, the AEW Women’s Championship shouldn’t be the 14th. Much like at All In: Texas, Mone should continue to have the top prize in AEW as the one title that continues to elude her during this run. There’s no doubt that Mone is a future Women’s Champion, but now is not the right time. Additionally, a Statlander victory would help to cement her current reign.

Winner: Kris Statlander

Casino Gauntlet Match To Crown The First AEW National Champion

With limited names announced ahead of time for this match, it is harder to predict who will emerge the winner and in the process become the first AEW National Champion. Bobby Lashley feels like a strong favourite as he doesn’t appear to be going after the World Championship anytime soon, and a returning MJF could also establish the title as meaningful right from the off. Additionally, Shelton Benjamin being given a singles championship at this stage of his career would be a great move to present the veteran as the workhorse champion. Although the options are limited, Lashley looks to be the biggest threat.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Kenny Omega And Jurassic Express v. The Young Bucks And Josh Alexander For $1 Million

It’s great to see Josh Alexander featured in a PPV match, especially as his role has been limited since signing with AEW earlier in the year. While AEW doesn’t follow up on the big money stipulation, some entertaining vignettes would be great TV, they have kept the broke Bucks storyline running. With The Bucks still down on their luck, this feels an easy set up for Omega, Jack Perry and Luchasaurus to win big at Full Gear.

Winners: Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega

Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mark Briscoe For The TNT Championship

Briscoe has to win this one. With Briscoe previously missing out on the gold, and with the added stipulation that he has to join the Don Callis Family if he loses, it is time for him to win some singles gold in AEW. Additionally, Fletcher has more than proved that he is ready for the main event, and this is the next step in his rise.

Winner: Mark Briscoe

PAC vs. Darby Allin

With both men having a high-flying style, this could be a sleeper hit for the match of the night. Even though this is a standard singles match, heavy interference is likely to try and give PAC the advantage, but Allin will continue his run of big wins in 2025, that will likely lead to a World Title match when the heel eventually holds the gold again.

Winner: Darby Allin

Brodido (c) vs. FTR For The Tag Team Championships

The result of this match will likely depend on whether Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are ready to return to reignite their feud with FTR. If the veterans are due to come back soon, it is likely that FTR will win the titles back once again to raise the stakes. However, it also doesn’t feel like now is the time to bring the Brodido title reign to an end. This could go either way, but a retention feels like the safer option.

Winners: Brodido

Sisters of Sin vs. Babes of Wrath vs. Timeless Love Bombs vs. Marina Shafir & Megan Bayne

The winners of this match will choose the stipulation for their semifinal match down the road as part of the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament. With no direct implication on advancing in the tournament, this is pretty much anyone’s game. With a potentially violent stip to be chosen, Marina Shafir and Maegan Bayne could emerge the winners here.

Winners: Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne

Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly In A No Holds Barred Match

This feels like it will be the latest chapter in the downfall of Jon Moxley, who has lost via submission multiple times throughout the past few months. There is a strong chance that Moxley will lose via tapout again, further cementing that the leader of The Deathriders is not the person he used to be.

Winner: Kyle O’Reilly

Hangman Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe In A Steel Cage Match For The World Championship

Page won the first standard singles match back at WrestleDream, and will face Joe one more time inside a steel cage. With No DQs in the match and interference expected, even though the cage is designed to negate that, this will likely see The Opps interfere before the babyfaces make the save. Ultimately, it will be Page who emerges with his hand raised at the end of this.

Winner: Adam Page

AEW Full Gear will air live on select PPV platforms on Saturday, November 22.
