The last time is now for a few more locations as John Cena only has a few dates left on his year-long retirement tour.
Beginning back at the Raw on Netflix premiere on January 6, Cena has nearly completed his 36 obligated dates as there are now only 7 appearances left for the 17-time World Champion at the time of writing. On September 5, the Hollywood star made his final appearance on SmackDown, the same show where he made his historic debut against Kurt Angle back in 2002. While Cena was looking to end the night on a high with a US Title Open Challenge match against current champion Sami Zayn, Brock Lesnar changed plans by delivering an F5 to the former World Champion. It is expected that Cena vs. Lesnar will take place one final time at Wrestlepalooza on September 20.
On top of the 4 matches expected to take place at the remaining Premium Live Events, Cena also has 3 more appearances set on Raw in Springfield and Boston, Massachusetts, along with one final stop at Madison Square Garden in New York, the building where he won his first championship at WrestleMania 20 by defeating The Big Show to capture the US Title.
Although it was heavily rumoured that Boston would be the location of the retirement match, it now appears that the December Saturday ight’s Main Event will instead take place in Washington against an opponent to be determined.

- Saturday, December 13 – Retirement match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (reportedly Washington, D.C.)
