A Wrestlepalooza match will be made official and more on the September 8 episode of WWE Raw.
With the Women’s World Championship vacated after Naomi announced that she was pregnant, General Manager Adam Pearce has provided the update that Stephanie Vaquer will face IYO SKY at Wrestlepalooza on September 20 to crown the new champion. Both contenders will appear live to sign the contract for the upcoming match.
Following the shock return of AJ Lee to WWE after more than a decade away, the former Divas Champion will be appearing live on the show. It is likely on this show that Rollins and Becky Lynch vs. CM Punk and AJ Lee will be announced for Wrestlepalooza.
With Lyra Valkyria looking to build up momentum again with the hopes of receiving another title shot, the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion will take on Raquwl Rodriguez. Additionally, AJ Styles will be looking for revenge on El Grande Americano after the masked luchador cost Styles his opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship the previous week.
