Drew McIntyre Wins WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Drew McIntyre has re-signed with WWE.

Drew McIntyre is officially Mr. Money in the Bank.

Victorious in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match in Toronto, McIntyre managed to overcome the odds as he climbed the ladder to unhook the briefcase and defeat Jey Uso, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Carmelo Hayes and Andrade.

The match itself saw the usual chaos that many expect from the Money in the Bank including Andrade and Carmelo Hayes displaying their high-flying abilities and McIntyre frequently using his power advantage over the other competitors. Other notable highlights included Andrade hitting a sunset flip powerbomb onto Hayes and Gable hanging above the ring before crashing to the floor.

The closing moments saw Uso seemingly all alone and ready to unhook the briefcase but was struck with a ladder by The Scottish Warrior, allowing McIntyre to have a clear path and unhook the briefcase to win the match.

Drew McIntyre Looks To Avenge Clash At The Castle

After being screwed by the Money in the Bank briefcase on numerous occasions, McIntyre looks to exact revenge by taking advantage of the terms of the briefcase. At WrestleMania, McIntyre was the victim of a Damian Priest cash-in to lose his World Heavyweight Championship just 5 minutes after winning the title. Looking to get his title back at Clash at the Castle in Scotland, McIntyre was once again screwed by CM Punk.
