As published in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer has given his thoughts and star ratings for Double or Nothing 2024, which marked 5 years since AEW debuted on pay-per-view.

Multiple title changes took place on the show as Will Ospreay defeated Roderick Strong to become the new International Champion and Mercedes Mone defeated Willow Nightingale to become the new TBS Champion. 

The show also saw a major return take place as MJF made his return to AEW for the first time since he lost the World Championship at Worlds End 2023.
