A hotel in Las Vegas, which will serve as accommodation for many WWE stars and employees over WrestleMania 42 weekend, has already become a cause for concern.
Tens of thousands of pro wrestling fans have taken over Vegas for the second consecutive year. Along with the main attraction of WrestleMania 42, which will take place over 2 nights inside Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19, many independent companies have taken advantage of the buzz by holding their own shows in Sin City, along with various live podcast recordings also taking place. However, even though the action has barely begun, there have been worries over how well the stars will be protected.
WWE Stars “Mobbed” At WrestleMania 42 Hotel
As reported by PWInsider, no additional security was put in place at the talent hotel on Wednesday night. It was also noted that as there is a major casino in the hotel, there was no way to restrict fans. As such, anyone associated with WWE was “mobbed” by fans in the lobby trying to get pictures and autographs, while others were camping out by the elevators.
There was hope that additional measures would be put in place the following nights to prevent this, but no updates have been provided at the time of writing.
