The American Nightmare and The Beast will collide one more time on August 5th.
As announced on the July 17th edition of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes will go one-on-one with Brock Lesnar for a third time, with both men looking to be the definitive victor in the rivalry.
Rhodes opened the show in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Rhodes got right to the point and demanded that Brock Lesnar come to the ring to answer the challenge for SummerSlam.
Lesnar did not come out immediately, prompting Rhodes to state that Lesnar must be late, but he would wait for The Beast all night long.
As Cody Rhodes went to hug his mother in the front row, the music of Brock Lesnar played multiple times, but the former WWE Champion did not appear. Rhodes went to the back, where Lesnar was waiting for him.
Chair shots to Rhodes and a beatdown in front of Rhodes’ mother ensued, ending with a Kimora lock in the ring. Lesnar then told Rhodes that the challenge has been accepted, and that he will see him at SummerSlam.

- Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Balor – Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
