Chris Jericho Reveals Mystery Partner For AEW Forbidden Door

Chris Jericho has found back-up for AEW Forbidden Door.

The Learning Tree, Big Bill and Bryan Keith were originally set to face off against Samoa Joe, Hook and Katsuyori Shibata at the upcoming pay-per-view. However, on the June 26th episode of AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that Keith had suffered an injury and was unable to compete. While Jericho at first attempted to recruit Minoru Suzuki, the NJPW legend declined the offer as he wanted a title match.

On the June 29th episode of Collision, reinforcements arrived for Jericho in a big way. As The Learning Tree and co were victims of a sneak attack, the field was neutralised by NJPW World Television Champion Jeff Cobb, who was later confirmed to be Jericho’s partner. Initially, Cobb issued an open challenge for Forbidden Door but this will no longer be taking place.
