Line-Up Announced For AEW Dynamite

The final AEW Dynamite before Forbidden Door.

With the crossover pay-per-view taking place on Sunday, June 30th, AEW presented the final build to the show in Buffalo, New York. With Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay set to collide at Forbidden Door, the two opponents teamed together on the show as they faced off against The Gates of Agony. Additionally, the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament continued as Jay White faced Rey Fenix in the opening round.

The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:

  • MJF opened the show and was quickly interrupted by Daniel Garcia, who took a change of tactics and complimented MJF instead of insulting him. Garcia reflected on his loss to MJF, to which MJF offered Garcia a rematch at All In. Both men were interrupted by Will Ospreay, who offered Garcia a shot at the International Championship next week.
  • Shingo Takagi, Titan and Hiromu Takahashi defeated Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta by DQ after Moxley used a chair. Tetsuya Naito stared down Moxley to build to their match at Forbidden Door
  • Jay White defeated Rey Fenix in the Owen Hart Tournament
  • The Aclaiemd complained about The Young Bucks before being challenged to a trios match at Forbidden Door. Billy Gunn revealed that he would not be teaming with The Acclaimed but instead, it would be NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi
  • Mariah May, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa defeated Saraya, Harley Cameron and Anna Jay
  • Chris Jericho made reference to the upcoming trios match at Forbidden Door. With Bryan Kieth injured, Jericho and Big Bill needed a replacement, which was teased to be Minoru Suzuki. However, Suzuki instead stated that he wanted a match against the FTW Champion
  • Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Kyle O’Reilly
  • Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland defeated Gates of Agony
