Chris Jericho and MVP have “hashed” out their previously alleged issues.
At AEW Grand Slam, MVP made a surprise entrance at Arthur Ashe Stadium to interrupt Prince Nana, who was there to provide an update on Swerve Strickland. While many were happy to see MVP become All Elite, fans online also questioned how his relationship with Jericho would become a factor.
For those unaware, the two have had issues for a number of years with previous instances including a verbal argument in a hotel and MVP allegedly punching Jericho on a previous Jericho Cruise. While some may have suspected previous heat between the two that has remained, all issues have been resolved.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, MVP went to Jericho’s locker room during his first night in the company and all issues were sorted. It is unknown what the specifics of the conversation were but any previous problems “won’t be an issue moving forward.” Many also praised MVP for how he handled the issue.
Chris Jericho Talks Up New Deal
AEW finally announced a new media rights deal in early October that has made many happy with the peace of mind that the promotion will continue for a number of years and could also be profitable due to the bump in media rights fees. Speaking about the new deal, Chris Jericho stated that “a lot of experts were made to look like idiots” when the deal was announced.
