Chelsea Green is the 2026 WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Champion, but her night did not end the way she hoped.
Green won the accolade at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The SmackDown star defeated Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan at the November 7 show to win the Crown Jewel title for the first time in her career. The closing moments of the match saw Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez try to interfere, but they were sent to the back.
Green then countered an ObLIVion attempt to roll up Morgan and win the match. Triple H presented Green with the Crown Jewel Championship, but things then took a turn for the worse for the SmackDown star.
Chelsea Green Has Crown Jewel Celebration Ruined
Morgan attacked Green as the WWE Women’s Champion was giving her acceptance speech. Rodriguez and Perez returned, but Tiffany Stratton made the save. Just as it appeared that Stratton was about to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan, Stratton instead struck Green with the briefcase.
Hitting the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, Stratton pinned Green to win the Women’s Championship for the second time in her career. The cash-in also means that the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase still has a 100% success rate since it was introduced back in 2017.
Green held the title for 97 days after winning the gold at SummerSlam.
