Bobby Lashley has once again commented on what the future may hold following his exit from WWE.
Choosing not to re-sign with the company earlier in the year, Bobby Lashley was removed from the active roster page on August 16th, signalling that he was no longer with the promotion. With Lashley still in great shape and making it clear that he is not done competing, many have speculated that it is only a matter of time before he turns up in AEW and looks to prove that he made the right choice by betting on himself.
Others have also speculated that Lashley may return to TNA given his history with the promotion. Speaking on his Vlog, the former World Champion stated that while he is aware of the chatter from the fans, all he can do is prepare for the eventual return to the ring:
“I’ve seen some of the articles about what I’m going to do. Is it WWE, TNA, and AEW? I can’t control any of that,” he said. “But the one thing I can control is how to prepare. I’m ready for anything.”
It is also speculated that Lashley will reunite with MVP and Shelton Benjamin to reform The Hurt Business faction, which will be rebranded as The Hurt Syndicate, which MVP recently trademarked. Former Hurt Business member Cedric Alexander will not be a part of the new group as he recently re-signed with WWE.
Bobby Lashley Previously Commented On Wrestling Future
Earlier in the year, Lashley stated that he still wanted to wrestle while also potentially pursuing other avenues such as MMA, boxing and acting. Lashley has previously competed for Bellator and had an overall MMA win-loss record of 15-2.
