A top title match is currently listed internally for WWE Bad Blood.
The upcoming Premium Live Event on October 5th currently has 4 matches confirmed for the show at the time of writing. However, according to an update from Dave Meltzer, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is set to defend the title against Sami Zayn in Atlanta at Bad Blood:
Gunther vs. Sami Zayn is listed on the internal lineup for a WWE title match at Bad Blood on 10/5, so I guess it’s a six-match show and not a five-match show
Zayn has confronted Gunther numerous times demanding a World Title shot, which the champion has refused. Zayn is one of the few stars to defeat Gunther since his main roster all-up, bringing the record-breaking Intercontinental Championship reign to an end back at WrestleMania 40.
It should be noted that a match advertised for the September 20th SmackDown will see Naomi and Bayley take on Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax. If Bayley or Naomi wins the match, they will go on to challenge Jax for the Women’s Championship at Bad Blood, meaning that the show will have 6 matches as opposed to the 5 match card that many B-shows have stuck to.
