A major match is being internally pitched for the returning WWE Evolution Premium Live Event, which will take place later in the year.
After 7 years away, the all-women’s show is set to make its long-awaited return in the summer with the top stars from the division all set to be in action at the event. Although no matches have been announced at the time of writing, the top champions are expected to be in action along with Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, who will make her return to TV on the June 9th episode of WWE Raw. Additionally, a new report has indicated that a WrestleMania rematch will also be making its way onto the card.
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Naomi vs. Jade Cargill is being discussed for Evolution 2. The update follows the events that took place at Money in the Bank, which saw Naomi gain possession of the briefcase and guarantee her a future opportunity at the Women’s Championship.
Cargill won the first match at WrestleMania 41, and Naomi recently stated that she would love to run things back with a stipulation attached.
When Is WWE Evolution 2?
Following weeks of rumour and speculation, the second Evolution event was announced for July 13th in Atlanta, Georgia as part of a weekend of action set to take place in the city that will also include the latest Saturday Night’s Main Event.
