Naomi has won the Money in the Bank contract for the first time in her career and now has an opportunity at the Women’s Championship.
Competing in the opening match of Money in the Bank, Naomi defeated Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, Giulia, Roxanne Perez and Alexa Bliss to unhook the briefcase. The closing moments of the match saw Ripley and Bliss fight on top of the ladder before Naomi pushed the two former Women’s Champions off the ladder to capitalise and emerge the victor.
The former Women’s Champion was the odds-on favourite heading into the match and has the odds in her favour moving forward as the Women’s Money in the Bank match still has a 100% success rate when it comes to cash-ins. The currrent champions are IYO SKY on Raw and Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown.
This was also Naomi’s 5th appearance in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Naomi Has The Advantage
The SmackDown star turned heel earlier in the year when it was revealed that she was the one who attacked Jade Cargill in late 2024. Despite losing to Cargill at WrestleMania, the former Women’s Champion has been booked strongly and is arguably doing the best work of her career right now.
