Seth Rollins has joined the select few who won the Money in the Bank contract for the second time in his career.
Competing in the penultimate match of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, Rollins unhooked the briefcase once again to earn his opportunity at a future World Championship match. Rollins won the match by taking out LA Knight with a stomp to climb the ladder and gain possession of the contract.
With interference taking place, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker took advantage of the no disqualification stipulation to provide an assist for Rollins. As United States Champion Jacob Fatu came down to seemingly provide an assist to Solo Sikoa, Fatu declared he hated Solo and attacked his former ally.
The two champions that Rollins could cash in on are Jey Uso on Raw and John Cena on SmackDown.
Seth Rollins Is Mr. Money In The Bank For A Second Time
Rollins last won the Money in the Bank match back in 2014. In one of the most famous cash-ins in the history of the concept, The Visionary hijacked the main event of WrestleMania 31 to pin Roman Reigns and become WWE Champion for the first time in his career.
Earlier in the night, Naomi won the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
