Big Cass looks set to make his WWE return next month following a vignette that aired on Raw.
A video aired during the July 13 broadcast showed clips of fans reacting to Cass. The clips also made reference to him with “Sawft” and “How you doing?” seen on fan shirts and signs throughout. At the end of the video, a voiceover is heard saying, “What happens when the whole world calls you can’t miss? What happens when the whole world is wrong?”
The video ended with a silhouette in front of the date 8/3, which will be the Raw after SummerSlam. Interestingly, Cass’ former tag team partner, Enzo Amore, was not seen in the video package.
Making their main roster debut in 2016, Enzo and Cass quickly became one of the most popular acts on the roster. On top of receiving some of the loudest fan reactions each week, the duo also shared the ring with top stars such as John Cena and AJ Styles.
Following the tag team splitting in 2018, Cass went on a brief solo run, but was released from the company.
Big Cass Looks Set For WWE Return After Reportedly Departing AEW
After a run on the independents and in TNA, the former Big Cass arrived in AEW in 2022. Following a one-off where he was picked by MJF to be Wardlow’s opponent, Cass signed with All Elite Wrestling full-time later that year. Competing under the name Big Bill, the 7-footer won the Tag Team Championships alongside Ricky Starks. Big Bill’s final appearances saw him align with Bryan Keith to be a part of Chris Jericho’s Learning Tree faction. Big Bill’s contract reportedly expired in July 2026.
It should be noted that at the time of writing, Big Bill is still listed on the AEW roster page.
