Becky Lynch Addresses Shock Ending To WWE Clash In Paris

Becky Lynch has broken her silence following the surprise ending to the WWE Clash in Paris main event.

Just as it appeared that CM Punk was on the verge of capturing the World Heavyweight Championship once more, a masked figure delivered a low blow to the Chicago native. After Lynch revealed her identity, Seth Rollins capitalised by delivering a stomp to Punk to retain the title. After the match, Rollins and Lynch were seen celebrating together, seemingly indicating that the real life husband and wife will once again partner up onscreen.

Taking to social media after the show, Lynch posted a photo of herself and Rollins with the caption “We run this business. #TheVision”:

Earlier in the night, The Vision’s Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker delivered a lengthy beatdown to Roman Reigns after The OTC defeated Reed in the opener. When order was finally restored, an irate Adam Pearce informed Reed and Breaker that they were to leave the arena immediately and would be suspended without pay if they did not oblige. With Rollins set to defend the title on his own, fans speculated that the World Champion would have some backup.

Lynch was also in action on the show as she defended the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella.

Seth Rollins And Becky Lynch Teaming Up On WWE TV Again Following Clash In Paris

Rollins and Lynch previously used their real-life relationship in storyline back in 2019, which saw the husband and wife each walk out of WrestleMania 35 as World Champions. Feuding with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, Lynch and Rollins teamed up multiple times throughout the summer of that year. However, in interviews since, both Rollins and Lynch have stated that they were not comfortable with the onscreen storyline.

Given that CM Punk is married to former WWE wrestler AJ Lee, the angle has fuelled speculation that the former Divas Champion may also be set to make a shock comeback very soon to even the odds for Punk.
