Bianca Belair’s record setting reign as Raw Women’s Champion has come to an end.
Belair was defeated by Asuka at the WWE Night of Champions Premium Live Event in what was a rematch from WrestleMania 39, where The EST stood tall on that occasion.
At the conclusion of the match, Asuka attempts to mist, but Belair evades the attack. Asuka would then mist her own hand, rubbing it Belair’s face as Asuka was in the KOD position. A kick to the head of Belair would allow Asuka to pick up the pinfall victory.
Belair captured the title at WrestleMania 38, defeating Becky Lynch to hold the championship for the first time in her career. For Asuka, this is the 3rd time that The Empress has held the title.
This was the second new champion crowned at the PLE, with Seth Rollins winning the World Heavyweight Championship in the opening match of the show.
