AEW Worlds End 2025 Predictions

AEW Worlds End 2025 Predictions

Rounding out the year of wrestling once more, AEW Worlds End 2025 will see the conclusion of the third Continental Classic, and more!

Looking to repeat the successes of Eddie Kingston in 2023 and Kazuchika Okada in 2024, 4 wrestlers will look to emerge victorious in the Continental Classic tournament, which will see the semi-finals and finals take place at the pay-per-view.

Additionally, following his surprise return at the Holiday Bash special in Manchester, MJF inserted himself into the World Title match to make it a 4-way with champion Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland and former champion Adam Page.

AEW Worlds End 2025 Predictions:

Kris Statlander (c) vs. Jamie Hayter For The AEW Women’s Championship

If a title is changing hands on the show, this will be the match where it happens. Hayter has been gradually rising through the ranks since her return from injury, and is due another run with the gold. Additionally, as Statlander has some big wins against Mercedes Mone and Toni Storm, it remains unknown what’s next for her if she retains. Statlander has had a great run, but it feels like Hayter’s time.

Winner: Jamie Hayter

FTR (c) vs. The Bang Bang Gang For The Tag Team Championships

In terms of the match itself, expect a straightforward retention for Dax and Cash here. However, as the new year approaches, and with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage remaining off TV for a number of months, a post match return from the veteran tag team is very much on the cards, setting up what could be Cope and Christian’s final year.

Winners: FTR

Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd

It’s great to see Nottingham wrestler Kidd given a prominent spot on the Worlds End card. Having faced Omega at the start of the year and regularly featured in AEW, it only feels like a matter of time before the NJPW star becomes All Elite full-time. In terms of his match against Allin, it feel like Allin is on course for a victory here, and could be the next challenger to the World Championship, or the first feud when a new champion is crowned.

Winner: Darby Allin

Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron (c) vs. Mercedes Mone and Athena For The AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships

Nightingale and Cameron have only just won the titles, and need to be established as credible before losing the gold. Additionally, as Mone is now starting to lose her many championships, having The CEO lose here would be crucial in the downfall portion of her storyline. This could set up an Anthena vs. Mone match, which may see Mone bring Athena’s record breaking ROH Women’s Championship reign to an end, but a title change feels unlikely.

Winners: Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron

Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada – Continental Classic Semifinal

This tournament feels like it is Takeshita’s to lose given he won the G1 earlier in the year and is definitely a future top star in AEW. Takeshita and Okada have been at odds for months and this looks to be the logical next step. Okada will likely cheat to gain an advantage, but Takeshita is advancing to the final here.

Winner: Konosuke Takeshita

Kyle Fletcher vs. Jon Moxley – Continental Classic Semifinal

Kyle Fletcher has had a breakout year, and Jon Moxley has struggled to remain in control of The Deathriders, yet alone his own singles performances. Fletcher needs to make it to the final here, and a Moxley loss may be the last straw before the leader of The Deathriders gets kicked out of the group. 2026 could be the Moxley redemption year, and the year that Fletcher wins the big one, but for now, it’s Fletcher’s time.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher

Continental Classic Final

Based on predictions, it appears that it will be Kyle Fletcher vs. Konosuke Takeshita in the final, meaning that Don Callis is guaranteed to have a family member emerge the victor, while also having an unhappy Okada to deal with. A late contender for match of the year, expect something special from these 2 in the last match. There is no bad choice for a winner here, but given what Takeshita has accomplished in 2025, the momentum should keep going.

Winner: Konosuke Takeshita

Samoa Joe vs. Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland vs. MJF – 4-Way Match For The AEW World Championship

Although 4-way matches for the World Championship typically see the champion retaining, there is a strong case for each of the competitors to win the title here. Page has had a stellar year and winning the title back would be logical given his triumph back at All In, and Strickland remains a fan favourite. There is also the break-glass-in-case-of-emergency factor of MJF, who previously had a successful run and could help increase AEW’s exposure in 2026. With all that being said, it still feels too early for Joe to lose the title. Likely to hold onto the gold until Revolution, expect The Opps to help Joe retain here.

Winner: Samoa Joe
