The 8 teams fighting to become the first holders of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship have now been revealed.

The bracket was announced on the October 22 edition of AEW Dynamite, along with a 4-way match to determine one of the first-round matchups. With Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminate emerging the winners in the aforementioned 4-way match, the duo called out Julia Hart and Skye Blue as their opponents of choice in the opening round.

Later in the show, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone met with ROH Women’s Champion Athena, who suggested that they team up as part of the tournament. If Mone wins, this will be her 13th championship.
