One of the landmark pay-per-views on the calendar, AEW Revolution returns once again on March 9th, this time from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Looking to bring to an end the reign of terror from The Deathriders, Cope will challenge Jon Moxley for the World Championship in the main event. With Cope taking out members of the faction on the way, The Rated R Superstar will be looking for a fair fight at Revolution.
Looking to put their rivalry to an end, Toni Storm and Mariah May will once again collide with the Women’s Championship on the line.
AEW Revolution Predictions
Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher – Steel Cage Match
With both men having a win over the other and with the added stipulation of a steel cage, this should be the definitive end to the rivalry and could very well be the match of the night. Ospreay has taken a number of big losses over the past few months and could use a big win, especially if he is on course for a future shot at the World Championship. Expect there to be interference from The Don Callis Family, but this should be a win for The Aerial Assassin.

MJF vs. Adam Page
Potentially the hardest match to call on the card. Both are former World Champions and both make a strong case for emerging victorious and going on to a world title match. With Page also in need of a big win and MJF able to bounce back from a loss, this one could be a victory for the cowboy with some added comeuppance for The Devil.

Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet – Number One Contenders Match
Will AEW pull the trigger on Ricochet and give the high-flyer a future World Title match? If Ricochet does win then this will give further credibility to his heel turn and redemption arc since leaving WWE, a path which Strickland also followed in AEW. However, with Ricochet winning the first match and with a heel likely to walk out of Revolution with the World Title, expect Strickland to even things up here. Should Strickland win back the World Title down the road, then this will be where the decider takes place.

The Hurt Syndicate (c) vs. The Outrunners – Tag Team Match For The AEW Tag Team Championships
Unfortunately, it feels like AEW may have missed the boat with The Outrunners. Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum should have won the championships in 2024 to give a feel-good win when they were at the height of their popularity. While there might be a hope spot, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin will have no trouble winning this one.

Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May – Hollywood Ending Match
Toni Storm has just won the championship after emerging victorious at Grand Slam Australia. While the Hollywood ending stipulation could be a lot of fun as anything goes and there will be no DQ, it’s very unlikely that Storm will drop the title back again so soon. Expect a big Storm win to bring this storyline to a fitting conclusion.

Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Momo Watanabe – Singles Match For The TBS Championship
Closing in on one year since her AEW debut and still reigning as the TBS Champion, there is no way that Mone will be losing the championship anytime soon. The CEO is on a tour of multiple promotions as the quadruple champion and will continue to reign for the next few months. Once again this will be another good match, but Mone will emerge the victor.
Winner: Mercedes Mone
Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Kenny Omega – Singles Match For The International Championship
Omega continues his rise back to the top after returning earlier in the year at Wrestle Dynasty. Having come up short against Takeshita in the past, this feels like the night where the title will change hands. The other contender for match of the night, Omega and Takeshita have great chemistry and will put on a fantastic match, but Omega won’t be losing the big match here. Additionally, there are rumours that AEW may soon unify the International and Continental Championship, which is currently held by Omega’s greatest rival Kazuchika Okada.
Winner: Kenny Omega
Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Brody King – Singles Match For The Continental Championship
Much like the match between Okada and Buddy Matthews at Grand Slam, this is likely to be a great match and could be a sleeper hit for the match of the night. While King has the power advantage over The Rainmaker and will likely get a close call or two, this will be another victory for Okada, who is likely to hold the championship for a while longer.
Winner: Kazuchika Oakda
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Cope – Singles match for the AEW World Championship
Widely regarded as a storyline that is not working, many are hoping that this is the night where Moxley loses the World Championship or at least there is some progression for The Deathriders who have been spinning their wheels for months. Moxley has held the championship since October and the fans are ready for the title to change hands, it just depends if AEW wants to pull the trigger. However, while Cope could win the championship here and it would be a feel-good moment, there is always Christian Cage lurking in the background with his guaranteed title shot. With the fight being on a level playing field, this could be Cope’s night.
