Toni Storm Wins AEW Women’s Championship At Grand Slam Australia

Toni Storm Returns On AEW Dynamite

Toni Storm is now a 4-time AEW Women’s Champion.

Competing in the main event of Grand Slam Australia, Storm defeated Mariah May to get retribution for her All In loss and to once again sit atop of the AEW Women’s Division. Storm won the match with a small package counter, bringing to an end May’s reign as champion at 174 days. The match saw numerous close calls but ultimately Storm prevailed the victor and is the first-ever 4-time Women’s Champion in AEW.

Back in August 2024, English wrestler May defeated Storm inside Wembley Stadium to win the title for the first time in her career. May earned the right to challenge for the gold by winning the Owen Hart Cup. Shortly after the victory, May brutally attacked Storm and left her former mentor a bloody mess to close out the show. Following the loss, Storm took an extended break from AEW.

Toni Storm Champion Once More Following Rookie Return

After a 4 month hiatus, Storm made her return at Winter is Coming. However, Storm would return as her rockstar persona as opposed to her popular “Timeless” character. Playing the role of the confused rookie, Storm earned a title shot by winning the first ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet match. Shortly before Grand Slam, Storm revealed that she had been playing the part of the confused rookie and was in fact “Timeless” all along, vowing to win the title in Australia.
