AEW Full Gear 2025 will see a cage match, multiple no DQ matches, a guaranteed new champion, and more!
Likely to be the main event and in a rematch from WrestleDream, Samoa Joe has been granted one more shot at Adam Page’s World Championship. However, while the WrestleDream match was a standard bout, the current former World Champion will clash inside a steel cage at Full Gear.
AEW will introduce another new championship on the show as the inaugural National Champion will be crowned. Instead of the standard tournament format, the first champion will instead be crowned in a Casino Gauntlet match, which will see Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin as the first 2 entrants.
Other title matches announced include Kyle Fletcher defending his TNT Championship against Mark Briscoe, where Briscoe will be forced to join The Don Callis Family if he loses, and Mercedes One will challenge Kris Statlander for the Women’s Championship. If Mone wins, this will be her 14th title.
