Kenny Omega celebrated his second reign as World Champion and more on the July 15 episode of AEW Dynamite to continue the road to Redemption.
Beach Break ended with a world title change as Kenny Omega defeated MJF to win the top prize in All Elite Wrestling. Omega appeared live to celebrate the win, while also confirming who his first challenger would be.
Additionally, Cage and Cope put the Tag Titles on the line, and a six-woman tag took place on the show.
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz were on commentary for the show.
AEW Dynamite Results July 15:
- Following a recap of Beach Break, Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay spoke backstage. Moxley said that Ospreay would have to make hard decisions down the road, but this isn’t a hard decision. Moxley told Ospreay to not hesitate and pull the trigger.
- Christian Cage and Cope defeated Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia to retain the Tag Team Championships. The Dogs attacked the champions after the match until the Bang Bang Gang made the save.
- Andrade defeated Jake Doyle, meaning he will go on to challenge Mark Davis for the National Championship at Redemption. Davis tried to attack El Idolo after the match, but El Idolo had the Dynamite Diamond Ring.
- Kenny Omega appeared live to celebrate his World Title win. The Young Bucks gave Omega the classic title design. Will Ospreay interrupted and asked to speak with Omega alone. Ospreay spoke about the All In match before Kevin Knight interrupted. The Jet laid down the challenge for Redemption, which Omega accepted if Don Callis stayed in the back. Knight hit Omega with a sneak attack; Ospreay and Allin were backup for Omega as The Family arrived. The Deathriders chased The Family away.
- Bandido and Brody King defeated Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto.
- Kyle Fletcher defeated Komander to retain the International Championship. Fletcher went for the mask after the match, but Konosuke Takeshita made the save. Kazuchika Okada hit The Rainmaker onto Takeshita, leading to Brodido making the save.
- Darby Allin defeated Brian Cage.
- Mercedes Moné and Divine Dominion defeated Willow Nightingale, Maya World and Hyan.
