A special episode of AEW Dynamite honouring Rebel will take place on September 9, titled “Rebel Heart.”
Dynamite will be dedicated to Tanea Brooks, better known to fans as Rebel. Brooks, who signed with the company in the early days, was diagnosed with terminal ALS back in March 2026. The Dynamite special will see Rebel make a live appearance as she and Britt Baker will present The Waiting Room, which will feature special guests new TBS Champion Persephone and Hikaru Shida. A donation will be made from the event to benefit I AM ALS and Team Gleason, two leading organisations in the fight against ALS as part of the Rebel Heart special.
Baker, who made her return at All In last month, will also make her in-ring return on Dynamite. Baker will team with Persephone and Shida to take on Maya World, Hyan and Thunder Rosa. Additionally, The Young Bucks are set to take on The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. Other family members Mark Davis and Josh Alexander will also take on Darby Allin and a debuting Steven Borden.
