Emanating from Glasgow, Scotland, the August 20 episode of AEW Dynamite will present the final build to Forbidden Door, and more!
On the August 13 Dynamite, Will Ospreay made his return to fight off The Deathriders and lay down the challenge for a lights-out steel cage match at Forbidden Door, which was later made official despite the fact that Ospreay previously admitted to having neck issues. Ahead of the match, Ospreay is set to appear live to have a face-to-face confrontation with Jon Moxley. For World Champion Moxley, he will partner up with fellow Deathriders Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli to take on Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight and Hiroshi Tanahashi, who will also be a part of the cage match on Sunday.
Also at Forbidden Door, The Hurt Syndicate will defend their Tag Team Championships against the winners of the Eliminator Tournament, which will see Brody King and Bandido take on FTR in the finals on Dyanmite.
With Toni Storm set to put her Women’s Championship on the line and Mercedes Mone set to put her TBS Championship on the line at Forbidden Door, both women will be in action on opposite sides in a tag team match. Storm will team up with Alex Windsor, and Mone will team up with Athena.
Ahead of his World Title defence against MJF at Forbidden Door, Adam Page is also set to appear live.
