A World Title match and more have been announced for the April 22 edition of AEW Dynamite.
On the April 15 Dynamite, Darby Allin shockingly defeated MJF to win the World Championship for the first time in his career after squashing the former champion. One week on from the title change, Allin will have his first title defence as he will face Tommaso Ciampa in a first time ever encounter.
Also on the April 15 Dynamite, Will Ospreay was attacked by his former friend Mark Davis. It was later announced that Ospreay would face Davis on the next episode of Dynamite. While Ospreay and Davis were former friends following their time in United Empire, Davis has since betrayed the former International Champion.
The other match announced will see Mina Shirakawa take on Hikaru Shida. Shirakawa is looking to make it on her own following Toni Storm being written off TV, and is looking to build momentum ahead of Double or Nothing next month.
AEW Dynamite April 22 Line-Up:
