AEW Plus Ending On Triller TV

AEW Plus Ending On Triller TV

AEW Plus is set to be discontinued from Triller TV imminently.

Triller sent users the following email on April 21 to let them know that their subscription would be coming to an end when their next billing cycle concludes. Additionally, PPVs can no longer be purchased through the service:

We’re writing to let you know that AEW Plus is being discontinued. AEW and ROH PPVs are also no longer available for purchase on TrillerTV.

If you have an active AEW Plus subscription, it will end on your next billing date.

You’ll have full access until that date. Any PPVs you’ve previously purchased will remain available to watch in your account.

AEW Plus has been the way that international fans were able to watch weekly TV programming live since the promotion launched in 2019. In the United Kingdom, fans can watch Dynamite and Collision on the TV channel ITV 4, but this airs a few days after the live broadcast.

The announcement follows the launch of the MyAEW streaming service earlier in the year, which is now the only way fans can catch the show live. Triller previously let fans know that they were not accepting new subscribers to AEW Plus.

Analysis – AEW Ends Triller Partnership

The Triller TV announcement was inevitable once MyAEW launched. It has been previously reported that the Triller service had been hit with financial difficulties, and more prominent have left the platform in recent months in favour of their own service or a dedicated YouTube channel that requires a paid subscription.

With there currently being no dedicated platform for MyAEW, fans are unable to access content on mobile devices. Additionally, users have stated that the MyAEW platform is not user-friendly compared to other services. With this now being the only way that fans can access weekly TV, hopefully, the promotion will make upgrades in the near future.
