AEW Dynamite Preview 3/1/24

AEW focuses on the fallout from Worlds End with the first episode of Dynamite in 2024.

The January 3rd edition of the show will be the first episode of Dynamite since Worlds End. On the show, TNT Champion Christian Cage lost but quickly regained the title from Adam Copeland following Cage using Killswitch’s number one contender opportunity. Cage and the rest of The Patriarchy will be appearing live to address the events that took place in Long Island.

A title match will also be taking place on the show. Continuing to be a fighting champion, International Champion Orange Cassidy will put the title on the line against Dante Martin.

Following on from joining the company in 2023, Mariah May will be having her debut AEW match on the January 3rd episode of Dynamite. May’s opponent will be Queen Aminata.

While not announced, expect to hear from Samoa Joe on Dynamite. Joe defeated MJF in the main event of Worlds End to become the new AEW World Champion. A pre-recorded message is expected to be played on Dynamite.
