The semi-finalists have been confirmed in the AEW Continental Classic Tournament.
The December 25th edition of AEW Dynamite saw the final matches in the group stages take place. Opening with Will Ospreay defeating Brody King, Darby Allin and Ricochet went to a time-limit draw immediately after. Later in the night, Kazuchika Okada defeated Shelton Benjamin and Kyle Fletcher defeated Daniel Garcia.
With a near-perfect record in the tournament, Flecther topped the Blue League with 12 points out of 15, the most of any competitor in either league. In a rematch from Full Gear, Flecther will take on Gold League runner-up Will Ospreay. Topping the gold league was Ricochet with 10 points, who will face Blue League runner-up Kazuchika Okada at Worlds End. The winners of each semi-final will face off later that night to determine the overall winner of the tournament.
AEW Continental Classic Final To Take Place At Worlds End
Along with the finals of the Continental Classic, the following matches have been announced to take place at Worlds End on December 28th:
- Jon Moxley (c) vs. Hangman Page vs. Jay White vs. Orange Cassidy – 4-Way match for the AEW World Championship
- Kyle Flecther vs. Will Ospreay – Continental Classic semi-final
- Kazuchika Okada vs. Ricochet Continental Classic semi-final
- TBD vs. TBD – Continental Classic final
- MJF vs. Adam Cole – The Dynamite Diamond Ring will also be at stake
- Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Kris Statlander – Singles match for the TBS Championship
- Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs – Singles match for the International Championship
- Mariah May (c) vs. Thunder Rosa – Singles match for the Women’s Championship
