Continuing its holiday tradition, WWE hosted its annual live event in Madison Square Garden, New York on December 26th.
The show saw CM Punk in action one year on from his return match in the company and 4 championships defended, including the World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a steel cage match in the main event. Those in attendance were able to provide results to the matches that took place at the Madison Square Garden house show, the results have been obtained via Wrestling Bodyslam.
The Following Results Took Place At The WWE Live Event:
- Main Event: Cage Match: World Champion GUNTHER defeats Damian Priest. After the match, CM Punk helped save Damian Priest from an attack from Dominik Mysterio and Ludwig Kaiser. Punk was wearing a shower cap and towel to make the save.
- Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan (with Raquel Rodriguez) defeats Iyo Sky
- The Wyatt Sicks: Erik Rowan / Joe Gacy / Dexter Lumis / Nikki Cross defeat The Final Testament: Karrion Kross / Akam / Razar / Scarlett
- CM Punk defeats Ludwig Kaiser
- Seth Rollins defeats Dominik Mysterio
- Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker defeats Sami Zayn; 2 out of 3 falls: Zayn wins fall #1 with the helluva kick ; Breakker wins falls 2 and 3 with the Spear and the Frankensteiner
- Xavier Woods (with Kofi Kingston) defeats Otis (with Alpha Academy)
- U.S. Champion LA Knight defeats Santos Escobar
