The January 23rd edition of WWE Raw will see the company celebrate 30 years of their flagship show being on television.
The show will be broadcast live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA and will see multiple title matches and Hall of Fame appearances take place.
Not only is this the 30th anniversary of WWE Raw, it is also the final episode of the red brand before the Royal Rumble on Saturday January 28th. Expect more entrants to be confirmed and the final build to red brand matches to take place.
Roman Reigns is not happy with the actions of Sami Zayn. The Tribal Chief has been angry with The Honorary Uce since the duo lost to Kevin Owens and John Cena on the December 30th episode of SmackDown. Zayn will be confronted by The Bloodline in a Tribal Court segment announced for the show.
Multiple WWE Hall of famers will be in the arena to join in the WWE celebrations. The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and The Bella Twins are some of the big names that will be seen at the event.
Following Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest winning a gauntlet match on raw 2 weeks ago, The Judgment Day members will be facing off against The Usos with the Tag Team Titles on the line. It should be noted that only the Raw Tag Team Championships are on the line.
The following matches and segments have been announced to take place on the 30th anniversary edition of WWE Raw:
- Austin Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley – Singles match for the United States Championship
- The Usos (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest – Tag Team match for the Raw Tag Team Championships
- Becky Lynch vs. Bayley – Steel Cage match
- The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, The Bella Twins, Road Dogg, Kurt Angle, Road Dogg, X-Pac, Ron Simmons, Teddy Long and Jerry Lawler advertised to appear
- The Bloodline to hold Tribal Court for Sami Zayn
- The final build to the Royal Rumble
