The September 9th edition of WWE SmackDown will be live from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The show will mainly feature the fallout from the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event take place.

The main event of Clash at the Castle saw Roman Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, thanks to the help of NXT star Solo Sikoa. While not announced, expect McIntyre to address the loss on the show. Roman Reigns has not been advertised to appear.

Braun Strowman made a shocking return to WWE on the September 5th episode of Raw, decimating the Raw tag team division in the process. In a backstage interview following the return, Strowman announced that he would be at SmackDown.

At the time of writing, the appearance by Braun Strowman is the only officially announced segment for SmackDown.

Update – Matches have been added to the SmackDown card by WWE:

• Lacey Evans vs. Natalya vs. Ronda Rousey vs. Sonya Deville vs. Xia Li – Fatal 5 Way match. The winner will go on to challenge Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules
• The Street Profits and Hit Row vs. Maximum Male Models and Los Lotharios
