The Wrestling Observer Dave Meltzer has awarded a second main roster WWE match in 2022 with a 5* rating.

Melzer posted the Clash at the Castle ratings in the September 9th edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which saw the Intercontinental Championship match between champion Gunther and challenger Sheamus be awarded the five star accolade.

As noted, this is the second main roster WWE match to receive the rating in 2022. The other match to be awarded 5* was the Hell in a Cell match between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at the Premium Live Event of the same name.
