Edge will team with Rey Mysterio to take on The Rated R Superstar’s former Judgment Day allies at the WWE Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event.
The opening match of the August 29th episode of Raw would see Finn Balor and Damian Priest defeat the team of AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler. After the victory, Edge was seen arriving at the parking lot. The Judgment Day would stay in the ring, where Priest stated that he wanted to finish what he started in Toronto on August 22nd.
Edge’s music would hit and the WWE Hall of Famer stated that while he was not in Toronto, he had backup. Rey and Dominik Mysterio would then blindside Priest and Balor with kendo sticks. Rhea Ripley would grab a one of the kendo sticks and provoked Edge and The Msyterios to strike her, but was dragged away by Priest and Balor.
The match was later made official for WWE Clash at the Castle. The updated line-up is as follows:
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Drew McIntyre – Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
- Liv Morgan (c) vs. Shayna Baszler – Singles match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
- Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka vs. Dakota Kai, Bayley and IYO SKY.
- Riddle vs. Seth Rollins
- Gunther (c) vs. Sheamus – Singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
- Edge and Rey Mysterio vs. Finn Balor and Damian Priest
