WWE SmackDown & AEW Rampage Ratings 26/8/22

The ratings for the August 26th episodes of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage have been published. On average, 1.990 million people watched SmackDown and 431,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained via Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:

Compared to the previous week, both shows have seen a drop in viewership. As the August 19th SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.084 million, the drop calculates to approximately 4.5%. SmackDown obtained a key demographic rating of 0.48, slightly up from the 0.47 rating from August 19th.

As the August 19th edition of AEW Rampage drew an average audience of 461,000, the drop calculates to approximately 6.5%. Rampage obtained a key demographic rating of 0.11, also down from the 0.12 rating from August 19th. As reported by Thurston, this is the lowest key demographic rating for AEW Rampage in the history of the show.

SmackDown saw The Bloodline brutally attack Drew McIntyre with a steel chair. AEW Rampage saw Claudio Castagnoli successfully defend the Ring of Honor World Championship.
