Liv Morgan will be defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event.

A gauntlet match took place on the August 5th SmackDown, where the winner would face Morgan for the title in September. The first match would see Sonya Deville face Aliyah, which was won by Deville. Raquel Rodriguez would be the next entrant, defeating Deville and going on to defeat Shotzi, Xia Li and Natalya before facing Shayna Baszler in the final round.

The match would see Baszler lock in the Kirifuda Clutch onto Rodriguez, which Rodriguez attempted to counter into a pinfall. Baszler would then hit Rodriguez with a pinning combination of her own to pick up the victory and become the new number one contender.

The updated line-up for Clash at the Castle is as follows:

• Liv Morgan (c) vs. Shayna Baszler – Singles match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
• Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre – Singles match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
