The July 8th edition of WWE SmackDown will be broadcast live from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The show will mainly focus on the fallout from the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
At Money in the Bank, Liv Morgan would win the ladder match to obtain the championship contract. Morgan would go on to cash-in the contract on the same night to pin Ronda Rousey and become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. Expect a celebration segment and Morgan’s next challenger to be revealed on the show.
A big return will also be seen on the blue brand. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be appearing live, as announced by WWE ahead of time. Expect Reigns to address the upcoming showdown against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam on SmackDown.
At the time of writing, the return of Roman Reigns and the fallout from Money in the Bank are the only segments advertised for the show.
