Roman Reigns will be returning to SmackDown on Friday, July 8th.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion has been advertised to appear on the blue brand on both the WWE Events page and during the promotional video to the upcoming show.

This will be Reigns’ first appearance on WWE TV since The Tribal Chief successfully retained the title against Riddle. After the retention, Reigns stated that there is no one left to challenge for the Championship, which would bring out a returning Brock Lesnar. the segment would end with Reigns being laid out with an F5 from the former WWE Champion.

Also being promoted for SmackDown is a response from Ronda Rousey. The Baddest Woman on the Planet would lose the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Liv Morgan following a cash-in by Morgan of the Money in the Bank contract.
