WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 1 Preview

WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 1 Preview

Two veteran wrestlers will collide, an unsanctioned match and more is set for WrestleMania 42 night 1.

With 2 decades of history between them and both being second-generation stars, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will put his title on the line against Randy Orton in the main event. Although things were cordial with both stars at first, Orton has since made it clear that he will do anything possible to ensure he wins World Championship number 15. Additionally, Orton now has Pat McAfee in his corner for the match.

With Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu constantly brawling all over arenas, management has decided that the way to settle things is to have both men face off in an unsanctioned match. There will be no countouts or DQ, and will only end when the referee calls for the pin or submission.

After winning the Women’s Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan is looking to win big at WrestleMania as she will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship. Additionally, Becky Lynch is looking to embarrass AJ Lee as she will challenge for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

When the day split was announced, it was also confirmed that The Vision and IShowSpeed vs. LA Knight and The Usos, along with Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu, would air on ESPN as the first hour will air free.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to start at 3 pm local time, which will be 11 pm in the UK.
