WWE WrestleMania 41 Location Update

WWE Wrestlemania 41

The location for WWE Wrestlemania 41 has all but been revealed.

With WWE set to take over Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia for WrestleMania 40 all eyes will be on the event to see if Cody Rhodes can finally finish the story as he faces off against Roman Reigns once again. Among the spectacle of the event, there is an expectation that the location for WrestleMania 41 will be announced soon, potentially over Mania weekend on April 6th and 7th. According to a new report, the city who believe they are the hosts are optimistic they will get that confirmation.

As reported by Fightful Select, Minneapolis in Minnesota is working under the assumption that they will be hosting the event in 2025. While WWE themselves have not been as open with hinting at the location, those in Minneapolis are being “loose-lipped” about the upcoming event, stating that they would be the host city as far back as April 2023. If Minneapolis is the host city, the expected venue would be The U.S. Bank Stadium, the home of the Minnesota Vikings.

Fightful also includes a quote from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz in the report, who said the following at a recent event:

“This is the place to be. Those are the things we need to be doing. So, for all of you attracting folks here, attracting conventions. Whether it’s coming up with the USA Gymnastic Trials or the US Junior Hockey Championships. (Walz then points to Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan and says) “And we’re not going to forget WrestleMania and things like that. (crowd laughs).  You know, when they told me that, I’m like, oh, but want to know best about this? (points to the crowd) That thing is a $20 million dollar impact in the local economy. It’s big.”

Why Is WrestleMania 41 Not In Las Vegas?

Although Minneapolis has been a front-runner for a number of weeks, rumours began to swirl that the company may have decided to pivot and Las Vegas would be the host venue instead. When asked about the rumours regarding a Vegas Mania, Fightful notes that if that were the case then an announcement would have been made at the WrestleMania press conference back in February, which saw Cody Rhodes make his WrestleMania decision.
