The Survivor Series pay-per-view took place on Sunday November 21st. The event was broadcast live from The Barclays Center in New York. The reported attendance was 15,120 people. WWE continued the recent theme of brand warfare, with both Raw vs. SmackDown elimination matches and champions from each brand facing off.
The following results took place at Survivor Series:
- On the kickoff show, Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defeated United States Champion Damian Priest by DQ. Priest grew increasingly frustrated by Rick Boogs’ guitar playing at ringside. Both Boogs and Nakamura were attacked with the guitar. This was a victory for SmackDown.
- Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeated SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair via pinfall. Lynch used the ropes to get an assisted pin. This was a victory for Raw.
- The men’s 5 on 5 elimination match was won by team Raw, with Seth Rollins as the sole survivor. The order of elimination were as follows; Kevin Owens [Raw], Baron Corbin [SmackDown], King Woods [SmackDown], Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre [Raw and SmackDown], Finn Balor [Raw], Sheamus [SmackDown], Austin Theory [Raw], Jeff Hardy [SmackDown].
- The Rock anniversary 25 man Battle Royal was won by Raw superstar Omos. The other participants in the match were AJ Styles, Omos, Otis, Chad Gable, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Apollo Crews, Commander Azeez, Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, R-Truth, T-BAR [Raw], Cesaro, Ricochet, Mansoor, Sami Zayn, Angel, Humberto, Jinder Mahal, Shanky, Erik, Ivar, Drew Gulak [SmackDown]. This was a victory for Raw.
- Raw tag team Champions RK-Bro defeated SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos. This was a victory for Raw.
- The women’s elimination match was won by team Raw. Bianca Belair was the sole survivor for team Raw. The order of eliminations were as follows; Carmella [Raw], Zelina Vega [Raw], Toni Storm [SmackDown], Liv Morgan [Raw], Rhea Ripley [Raw], Sasha Banks [SmackDown], Natalya [SmackDown], Shayna Baszler [SmackDown], Shotzi [SmackDown].
- Universal Champion Roman reigns defeated WWE Champion Big E. This was a victory for SmackDown.
The final score of the inter-brand battle was Raw being victorious with a score of 5-2.
It should be noted that Survivor Series 2021 marked 25 years since The Rock made his debut for WWE. To mark the occasion, WWE aired a series of highlights from the Great One’s career throughout the pay-per-view. However, The Rock did not appear on the show in either a physical or virtual capacity on the show.
