Men’s And Women’s Survivor Series Teams Announced

WWE have announced which wrestlers will be part of team Raw and team SmackDown as part of the traditional Survivor Series elimination matches. Participants for both the men’s and women’s teams were unveiled in a series of social media posts by WWE on Saturday November 6th.

The men’s Raw team consists of Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and the Mysterios. Even though this is the announcement for the Raw team, all 5 men were part of the SmackDown roster prior to the early October draft. The team will be facing the SmackDown team of Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn and Xavier Woods. Of team SmackDown, 3 of this team were members of Raw before the draft, with only Corbin and Zayn being SmackDown mainstays. Unlike previous years, there has been no qualifying matches or announcements on tv as to who was going to be part of each team.

Shortly after the men’s teams were unveiled, WWE’s social media announced the participants for each women’s team for the November 21st event. Team Raw will see Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella and Zelina Vega face team SmackDown’s Sasha Banks, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi, Natalya and Aliyah.

With 2 weeks to go until Survivor Series, the elimination matches are the only officially announced contests for the upcoming pay-per-view. While WWE have stated that champion vs. champion matches will be taking place, no official announcement has been made on this.
