WarGames returns to WWE Survivor Series once more over Thanksgiving weekend, and John Cena will compete in his penultimate WWE match.
For the 4th consecutive year. the WarGames structure will be present on the show as the men’s and women’s team will fight it out in the signature cage match. Additionally, Dominik Mysterio will look to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship back from John Cena, and Nikki Bella will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship.
WWE Survivor Series 2025 Predictions:
Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & AJ Lee vs. Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, Lash Legend & Becky Lynch in Women’s WarGames
Given the prediction for the men’s match, the babyfaces look to be the favourites in this one. However, here’s hoping that Lash Legend is given her moments to shine in the match and show those that don’t know what the NXT star is capable of. In terms of the finish, Lee pinning Becky Lynch once more looks to be the most likely outcome to set up the much anticipated one on one match between the two.

John Cena (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio For The Intercontinental Championship
Does WWE have a long-term plan for the John Cena Intercontinental Championship reign, or was it more about the moment to give the 17-time World Champion the grand slam? Given that this is Cena’s penultimate appearance and match, it doesn’t feel like WWE will keep the IC title off TV. Granted it will be via nefarious means, potentially thanks to a returning Liv Morgan, but Mysterio beating Cena to win back the championship will give “Dirty” Dom something to brag about for a long time.

Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Nikki Bella For The Women’s World Championship
Although Bella is the established veteran, a former champion and a Hall of Famer, it feels very unlikely that Vaquer’s reign is going to come to an end here. La Primera will pick up another major win in her title reign, and is likely to finish up her breakout year at the top of the Raw women’s division.

Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, CM Punk & Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre & Brock Lesnar In Men’s WarGames
The heel team has much more to gain with a win here as opposed to the babyfaces. Punk and Rhodes hold the top 2 championships, Reigns is a certified star, and The Usos have more than proven themselves. With Breakker and Reed denied an opportunity at a major championship since joining The Vision, and shunned from other big matches, the duo need a big win at Survivor Series, as does Drew McIntyre following his many losses to Cody Rhodes. A returning Randy Orton could play into the finish, and Lesnar on the team is always an advantage.
