WWE has pre-taped the December 26 edition of SmackDown ahead of time due to the holidays.
As the day after Christmas falls on a Friday in 2025, the company has pre-taped the show to allow the staff and talent time off for the holiday season. The tapings took place the same night as WWE Raw aired live in Hershey, PA on December 15. On Friday, December 19, WWE is also set to tape the December 22 edition of Raw in advance.
The SmackDown taping saw The MFTs face The Wyatt Sicks in the main event, along with United States Champion Ilja Dragunov teaming with Carmelo Hayes to take on DIY.
Those in attendance were able to provide spoilers to the matches and segments that took place at the SmackDown taping. The spoilers have been obtained via Bodyslam.net.
