The final match for Bad Blood was confirmed and more on WWE SmackDown.
Airing live from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the show continued the build to the upcoming Premium Live Event of October 5th. On the September 20th episode of the show, Bayley and Naomi both pinned Nia Jax in a tag team match. The two friends faced off on the show with the winner going on to challenge Jax for the Women’s Championship at Bad Blood.
Additionally, Solo Sikoa made his return to SmackDown ahead of his tag team match at Blood, which will see the leader of the new Bloodline team with Jacob Fatu to take on Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
The Following Results Took Place On WWE SmackDown:
- Randy Orton opened the show. Orton said he was happy to be back on the show before turning his attention to Cody Rhodes. Orton said that he was surprised that Rhodes picked Roman Reigns as his partner at Bad Blood and not him. Rhodes made his way out and the two spoke before Owens interrupted. The Bloodline interrupted the trio and Owens stated he wanted a tag match with Orton but not a 6 man with Rhodes
- Bayley defeated Naomi and will challenge Nia Jax for the Women’s Championship at Bad Blood
- Carmelo Hayes defeated Andrade. Their series is now 3-3
- Michin defeated Piper Niven
- Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu defeated Kevin Owens and Randy Orton thanks to some miscommunication from Rhodes. The three had tension but Orton calmed things down to close out the show
