WWE SmackDown Results November 7: What's Next For Cody Rhodes?

Two title matches and more took place on the November 7 WWE SmackDown, which focused on the events of Saturday Night’s Main Event and more!

At the November 1 special, Cody Rhodes retained the WWE Championship over Drew McIntyre. The American Nightmare appeared live on the show to address the fans following his victory. Additionally, following her victory at the show, new WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill appeared live to celebrate capturing the title.

Also on SmackDown, Ilja Dragunov defended the United States Championship, and Giulia defended the Women’s United States Championship.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves were on commentary for the show.

WWE SmackDown Results November 7:

  • Following a recap of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes officially kicked off the show. Rhodes spoke about his victory over Drew McIntyre and declared that he was done with The Scottish Warrior. Rhodes teased that he would sit with the fans and enjoy the show, but was interrupted by Aleister Black and Zelina Vega. After Vega slapped Rhodes, Nick Aldis booked Rhodes vs. Black for the main event.
  • Ilja Dragunov defeated Johnny Gargano to retain the United States Championship.
  • Jade Cargill cut a quick promo, declaring that she was “that b*tch” and put the roster on notice.
  • Nia Jax defeated Charlotte Flair after Lash Legend attacked Alexa Bliss, seemingly teasing an alliance between the two.
  • Chelses Green defeated Giulia very quickly to become the new Women’s United States Champion, now a 2-time holder of the title.
  • Tama Tonga defeated Rey Fenix.
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Aleister Black ended in a no contest when Drew McIntyre attacked the referee. McIntyre and Black went after Rhodes until Damian Priest made the save. Nick Aldis suspended Drew McIntyre at the end of the show.
