WWE SmackDown Results March 27: Jelly Roll Returns To The Ring

Jelly Roll competed in his second WWE match and more on the March 27 edition of SmackDown.

Following a war of words with Kit Wilson the previous week, singer Jelly Roll made his return to the ring on the show as he faced the British wrestler, who admitted ahead of time was preparing for the biggest match of his career.

Additionally, Tiffany Stratton faced Giulia, Nick Aldis provided an update on Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu following their brawl the previous week, and The Bellas faced Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.

WWE SmackDown Results March 27:

  • Following arecap of the brawl between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu last week, Randy Orton officially opened the show. Orton spoke about wanting to win his 15th World Championship, but was interrupted by Matt Cardona, who struck Orton with a microphone.
  • The Bellas defeated Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Nia Jax and Lash Legend attacked all 4 women after, leading to Bayley and Lyra Valkyria making the save.
  • Orton demanded a match against Matt Cardona, which Aldis granted providing that Orton kept himself busy beforehand.
  • B-Fab vs. Rhea Ripley went just over a minute and ended in DQ when Ripley was attacked by Jade cargill, B-Fab and Michin.
  • Jelly Roll defeated Kit Wilson. Dahausen cursed Wilson before his match.
  • Sami Zayn answered Carmelo Hayes’ open challenge, and went on to win the US Championship.
  • Both Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre appeared live following their brawl the previous week. Despite both me being beat up, Nick Aldis booked an unsanctioned match between the two for WrestleMania 42.
  • Giulia defeated Tiffany Stratton.
  • Randy Orton defeated Matt Cardona. After the match, Cody Rhodes stormed to the ring. Both men started brawling and Jelly Roll tried to keep the peace, but was laid out with an RKO.
